Join the Tennessee’s Commission of the US Semiquincentennial at our public meeting on Tuesday, July 23, at 10am Central at the West Tennessee Regional Art Center (WTRAC) in Humboldt. The Commission seeks your input on planning signature programs for the Semiquincentennial. 

10:00AM: WTRAC Upstairs Gallery
(welcome & light morning refreshments)

10:30AM: Historic First United Methodist Church
200 N. 12th Avenue, Humboldt, TN 38343
Public parking for both the art museum and the church is located between them directly behind the mayor's office.

After viewing the sanctuary with its beautiful stained glass windows, the group will move to the fellowship hall for opening remarks and a listening session. Immediately following the session, lunch will available for those who make reservations in advance. It will be catered by Sam's Barbecue, featured in Garden & Gun's "Barbecue Road Trip: The Smoke Road" in 2012. 

Hickory smoked pulled pork with sides, choice of beverage, and homemade pie for dessert. Cost will be $15 per person to be paid the day of the event (cash or checks only)
